Your credit card will be taken when you schedule a session, and this card will be charged automatically after each session.
CWC can also provide you with monthly statement/superbill which you can submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement.
Many insurance plans reimburse people 40%-80% of the cost of out-of-network therapy.
To learn more about your specific benefits and Superbill reimbursement processes, contact your insurance provider.

Currently, CWC is out of network (OON) with all insurance companies. We provide you with a monthly statement (called a Superbill) that you can submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement. We have found that many insurance plans will reimburse 40%-80% of the cost of OON therapy.
To determine your OON mental health coverage, call your provider and ask the following questions:
What are my mental health benefits?
What is the percentage of coverage for an out-of-network therapy session?
Intake session(s) CPT code 90791
Therapy sessions CPT code 90837
How many therapy sessions does my plan cover?
Is approval required from my primary care physician?
-
CWC is out of network with insurance carriers for a variety of reasons:
Allows you to choose your therapist without a referral or any pre-authorizations from your primary care physician.
You have access to unlimited sessions, whereas “in network” therapy can be limited to a particular number of sessions.
Both your medical and any mental health information are kept confidential. Being “in network” means that CWC is required to provide your treatment information to the insurer, which impacts your privacy.
It is important to note that many insurance plans will reimburse 40% - 80% of the cost of OON therapy. CWC can provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement.

According to the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate”. Under the law, health care providers are required to provide an estimate for services to those who do not have insurance.
You will receive detailed information about the cost of each therapy session in the Disclosure Statement you sign at the beginning of therapy.
This statement outlines the cost of each session you attend, and also notes that services are expected to be provided weekly until treatment is terminated.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
Make sure to save a copy your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
